Clinical Psychology

I am about to start a professional doctorate in clinical psychology, and I thought it might be worth having a page dedicated to posts about this.

Starting DClinPsy Year Two – reflections on starting my second year of clinical psychology training.

First Day Nerves – a post about my mixed emotions during my first week of clinical psychology training.

When September Comes – a post chronicling some of my adventures leading up to starting my clinical psychology training.

Work Day 1 (AKA Wordy Wednesday) – a post about my very first day in my Assistant Psychologist job.

With the help of horses – riding for the disabled – a post about some of my volunteer work which I did while applying for Assistant Psychologist jobs.

Eating disorders – on a day for eating – a post which summarises some of the reading I did in preparation for an Assistant Psychologist job interview in an eating disorders service. In hindsight, I am very glad I took the time to write this because I didn’t get to use anything I learned in the interview itself. After travelling all the way to London, my interview lasted a whole 12 minutes!!! Thank goodness I am no longer going to interviews!
